Setting up instructions:
A. Before operating the flash, please make sure all switches and regulators are either powered off or switched to minimum
B. Connect the power cord to the mains inlet socket (8)
C. Connect the Synchro cable to the Sync socket (11)

1. With the power switch on, the following 3 displays will show one after the other

2. To control the flash output
Press the Control Volume knob 'Once' and the display will show the last used setting. Turn the knob to adjust the flash setting to the desired level. Settings go from F0.1 through to F5.4 in one tenth of an f-stop settings.
3. To control the modelling lamp output
Press the Control Volume knob 'Twice' and the display will show the last used setting. Turn the knob to adjust the modelling lamp power to the required level.
4. To control both the flash and modelling lamp power together (proportionally)
Press the Control Volume knob 'Three Times' and the display will show both Flash and Modelling lamp settings. Turn the knob to adjust both the flash and modelling lamp to the required level.
5. Modelling Lamp ON/OFF
You can choose to have the modelling lamp switch off during the flash exposure, or to stay ON by pressing the CONTL button on the rear panel. IF THE MODELLING LAMP IS FOR ANY REASON ADJUSTED TO A HIGHER SETTING THAN THE FLASH, OR IF A 650 WATT LAMP IS USED IT IS ADVISABLE TO SELECT THE 'MODELLING LAMP OFF' SETTING, SO AVOIDING THE POSSIBILITY OF THE MODELLING LAMP AFFECTING THE COLOUR BALANCE OF THE EXPOSURE.
