TOTAL DIGITAL CONTROL

Both Flash and modelling light output can be easily controled in accurate 1/10th of an f-stop increments, from the digital command centre. Press the main control knob once and you can adjust the flash power over 4.5 f-stops with the power setting displayed in the LCD panel.

Press the knob twice and the modelling lamp output can be set again over 4.5 f-stops in 1/10th increments.

Press the knob 3 times and both the flash and modelling lamp output can be adjusted proportionally together.

The control button allows the choice of the modelling lamp staying on or switching off during the flash exposure.

The Cell button allows the built in infra red sensitive to be switched on and off as required.

The Union Flash Units feature user changeable high quality flash tubes and a powerful 300 watt halogen modelling lamp (bright enough for use as a continuous light source when required.

The flash tube and modelling lamp are protected with a UV coated pyrex glass dome.

A strong aluminium general purpose reflector produces an even spread of light. The reflector has a 'J' type bayonet fitting and is locked in place by a spring loaded catch. Umbrellas are fitted into a spring loaded tube in the body of the flash unit. The spring allowing the umbrella to be held in place without the need for a thumb screw.

A substantial stand mount that can be positioned at any point along the underside of the body ensures that the flash unit can be locked firmly at the required angle even when large softboxes are fitted.
